Lee Initiatives is committed to improving the life and health of the residents of West Central Pennsylvania by serving as a catalyst that coordinates, facilitates, develops and supports health related services.

OUR MISSION:
Lee Initiatives preserves the legacy of Lee Hospital by managing its resources to improve the quality of life for people in West Central Pennsylvania.



Johnstown Medical Development Corporation (JMDC)
, an organization that provides medical office and diagnostic space for local health providers. JMDC owns and manages the Seifert Professional Building and the Main Street West Parking Garage. In addition, JMDC is a 50% owner, along with Allegheny Christian Ministries, of Laurel View Village, a full service retirement community located in Davidsville,Pa


Lee Auxiliary, an organization that operates as a fundraising branch of Lee Initiatives to support and further its purpose by providing service to the community. The Lee Auxiliary also owns and operates the Lee Shoppe Express located at 321 Main Street, 3rd floor, in downtown Johnstown.


Lee Foundation, a local foundation with a mission of continuing the legacy of Dr. and Mrs. John Kidd Lee and Lee Hospital by matching grants made by other foundations or government agencies.


Walnut Management Corporation, a for-profit subsidiary of Lee Initiatives that includes Walnut Medical Services, a home health and medical equipment company; Lifeline, a Personal Injury Response System; and building and grounds services.
