Lee Initiatives is ready for its 20th grant cycle, taking place on Thursday, April 16th 2026 from Sunnehanna Country Club. We’re excited to provide roughly ONE MILLION dollars this cycle and many opportunities for local nonprofits to receive funding for programs that will improve the health and wellbeing of our residents.
For the last 19 years The Lee Initiatives Health & Wellness Endowment, has provided grants to area organizations who develop programs that improve the health of individuals living in the region served by the former Lee Hospital.
Over 200 local grants have been awarded over the last 19 years. The Endowment has provided more than 200 organizations with funds totaling over $9 million dollars. Last year 65 organizations were awarded a total of $700,000!
The Lee Initiatives Health & Wellness Endowment funds projects that range from $1,000 to $50,000.
We only accept ONE application per organization. Projects should improve the health and wellness of the residents of the Cambria, Somerset, Bedford or Blair Counties.
Grant awards will be awarded in May 2026.
