Lee Initiatives is opening its 20th grant cycle on Thursday, January 1, 2025. This opening initiates the opportunity for local nonprofits to receive funding for programs that improve the health and wellbeing of our residents.
For the last eighteen years The Lee Initiatives Health & Wellness Endowment, has provided grants to area organizations who develop programs that improve the health of individuals living in the region served by the former Lee Hospital.
Over 200 local grants have been awarded over the last eighteen years. The Endowment has provided more than 140 organizations with funds totaling over $8,000,000. Last year 58 organizations were awarded a total of $633,000
The Lee Initiatives Health & Wellness Endowment funds projects that range from $1,000 to $50,000.
We will accept only ONE application per organization. Projects should improve the health and wellness of the residents of the Cambria, Somerset, Bedford or Blair Counties.
Grant awards will be awarded in May 2026.
